Upcoming Appearances

It's mid-February, and I'm finally settling in to the new home, new freelance work, and my new writing schedule. I'm excited to announce several appearances at conventions and signings in the coming months. If one of them happens to be in your home town, I hope you'll stop by.

FOGCon: Fri, Mar 11 — Sun, Mar 13, Walnut Creek, California
I'll be giving a reading on Friday, and then appearing on two panels on Saturday. It'll be my second time at FOGcon and I'm really looking forward to it. Weekend and day passes are still available for purchase on the FOGcon website if you wanna go.

Book Carnival Signing: Sun, Apr 24 @ 3:00 PM, Orange, California
I'll be revisiting Orange County in April to do a signing along with one of my mentors and good friends, steampunk progenitor Jim Blaylock. Anne at the Book Carnival will have the newest releases from both of us available for purchase.

OCSA CW Guest Speaker: Mon, Apr 25, Santa Ana, California
The day after the the Book Carnival signing, I'll be visiting the art school I taught at for over a dozen years. This one is private, for OCSA students only.

SF/F Writing Workshop: Sat, Jun 11 @ 2:00 PM, Manor Library, San Leandro, California
To kickoff summer vacation for the local student authors, I'll be doing a sci-fi and fantasy writing workshop for children and young adults, ages 8 and up.

Face in a Book Signing: Sat, Jun 25 @ 1:00 PM, El Dorado Hills, California
Also in June, I'll be doing my first ever signing in the county I grew up in. Books will be available for purchase, and I'm hoping to catch up with friends I haven't seen in a long while. If nothing else, at least I know my mom will show up, so that's something.

Hopefully, I'll have more appearances to announce in the coming weeks and months. It'll be good to get out from behind the computer and see the light of day.
